Is your lawn Summer Ready?

Blog

Our Summer Ready Treatment is here!

It’s that time of year when the garden furniture comes out, the barbeque turns on, and the tools hiding in the garage come back into use. The lawn is considered to be the centrepiece of the garden, so why not get your lawn looking its best in preparation for those summer days?

As the temperature gets warmer and the humidity increases, it’s vital to keep your lawn healthy and strong; this is where NutraGreen ‘Summer Ready’ can help. Applied between April and June, our Summer Ready treatment features a fully coated fertiliser designed to give your lawn a timed release of nutrition for up to 10 weeks as well as weed control to help reduce pesky weeds, keeping it looking its best for summer. The result? A greener, thicker-looking lawn.

As an added benefit, your lawn will receive an application of our fantastic water conserver, Oasis*, which will help your soil make the best use of any available moisture, whether it’s rain, recycled, or even morning dew. Our Oasis treatment means that there’s 80% less watering effort required from you!

After a recent upgrade, Our Oasis Water Conserver Treatment now features a highly concentrated seaweed extract that makes your grass look greener, as well as improving the quality of your grass, root development and stress tolerance.

*Oasis may also be applied with during the same visit as our Summer Long Treatment or on a separate visit

Summer Tips

To ensure you get the most out of our Summer Ready treatment, we recommend that you treat your lawn using the best techniques for the summer season.
•    Develop a mowing routine for your lawn. It is also important to only mow when the grass is dry
•    Make sure your blades are kept sharp to avoid damage to the grass plant
•    Make sure you don’t cut your lawn too short as this will weaken it
•    When dry, raise the height of your cut from 25mm (1 inch) to 50mm (2 inches)
