GreenThumb Birmingham North has been looking after lawns locally for over 20 years.  Current owner John Murray took over the business in the summer of 2011.

We use our own unique Nutragreen fertilisers, specially developed by GreenThumb, and not available to anyone else, plus a range of herbicides to make your lawn lush green and weed-free for less than it costs to buy DIY materials yourself.  Each customer’s lawn receives five pre-scheduled treatments during the growing season to keep the grass green, healthy and free from weeds. We also offer lawn disease management and organic pest control. During the spring and summer, we offer our Oasis Treatment Programme, which successfully conserves water and reduces the amount of watering your grass will need during hot weather and dry spells.

In autumn, winter or spring we may recommend that your lawn is aerated and/or scarified to relieve compaction and to remove thatch.  This will allow nutrients to reach the root zone and it also reduces moss.
