Adam Stannard started his GreenThumb business 1st April 2014 with an already dedicated customer base and experienced team of 9 employees.

Originally, Adam is from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. He now lives in Edinburgh and since he was previously in the agricultural industry it seemed a very natural move into lawn care. With this wealth of knowledge and previous franchise experience it has been a smooth transition into the lawn care industry. Together with their staff they have more than 61 years’ experience treating lawns. They will continue to improve on the exceptional lawn care that their customers deserve.

The territory they look after is very diverse- from the heavy clay soil of the towns in the West to the peaty soils in the foothills of the Pentlands. Moss and thatch are big issues for the local lawns and yet in summer the weather can still cause the lawns to dry out and overheat. GreenThumb are always here to help with these common issues and any other problems affecting the lawn.
