Grant Drury launched GreenThumb Gloucester Vale franchise in March 2007.  His dedicated team now comprises of three lawn technicians, two sales and customer service managers, and two office staff.  Between them they have over forty years of experience.

The unit is based in Innsworth near Gloucester, and our lawn specialists have transformed and maintain over two thousand lawns in and around Gloucester, covering areas which stretch from Apperley and Hartbury in the North, to Whitminster and Frampton-on-Severn in the South, and throughout the Forest of Dean.

We carry out four pre-scheduled treatments every year, ensuring your lawn is kept in an excellent and healthy condition.  These treatments will keep your lawn lush, weed-free, and help with moss control.  This costs considerably less than doing it yourself!

During the winter months our lawn technicians can scarify and/or aerate your lawn if required.  Scarification removes surface and sub-surface thatch, which helps with moss eradication.  Hollow-tine aeration removes hundreds of small cores from the lawn, which relieves compaction and allows better drainage, and importantly means nutrients, water, oxygen and light can reach the root zone.

Customer service is our priority, and we will always advise swiftly on any problems that may occur, such as dry patch, red thread and leather jackets, all of which can cause significant problems if not treated.  We work closely and in partnership with our customers, giving appropriate on-going advice, help and support.  All of this is included free of charge.
